spread 3 was probably the easiest spread to make as I started to design spread with the others but I just had to the text that left in the theme of technique and the past with the wedding, to keep it simple that the rest I stuck in the images I had created and put them in places I wanted them to sit before thinking about text.
The development were very fast for the spread 3 as I knew the typefaces and and how I wanted to show the quotes from my other two spreads I was designing at the same times, the master pages were easy to links from creating with the other two spreads already I just had to drag the master page I wanted on the page layout in indesign very simple.
What took a lot of time in designing was trying to set out the text I spent many of my time trying to think of best places I wanted paragraphs I also remove some paragraphs and added in other text from the article to see it would flow more.
When designing both of the pages had different grid layout for example page left add a 2 grid section while right hand side had a 3 grid section I felt both of the pages should look different and because they both had different amount of text having different grids would work better.
the lot of moving text around was on right hand side because I felt every time I would change it something would sit on the page right like the quotes.
the left hand side page didn’t change much I kept the same amout of text on it all the way through but tried to play with it but the right hand side change had a lot a of movement to see where text would fit the image below felt to pushed tougher where the image above had space and worked well however I wanted all the text kept in so I had to see if I could change anything.
the photo above was the spread I did a test print on as I made the quote a size 20 on this spread to compare to to my other spread where it was a size 15 pt , when I printed out I realised straight away that was a big mistake to do it in a size 20 as it was too big on the page I need up changing it to a size 15 like all the other spreads I’ve made so far.
to finish of this spread I added in all the paint marks behind the quotes to get all my spread to had a theme that would carry out all the way this worked out well and having both of my pages having different layout I believe that it this spread would out well even though the left page would do with more developing as the text seems a bit too close.
