Over the last couple of weeks of improving pervious project and improving design for real and I have changed my colour choices but also one of my improvement to make to my design for real project was cutting down my booklet design to be more condensed wth the amount of nofrmarion on the pages, the design of the booklet is small and my concept is take 5 so it was thought about cutting the text down to make the main point stand out more but very simple based that the booklet could take about 5 minutes only to read .
Above is the design I had for formative hand in, while the design really works it can be seen as over frown on the bottom left page and the points can be too heavy with text so to improve my design Ii went away to cut down the design.
when I was making theses changes i was also very stuck on which type or blue tone i wanted or did I want to cut my green out so below on the left you can see green/blue tone that Ii was exploring personally really loved this colour but i just felt that it didn’t work well for the design for real project that amazingly so I decided to cut it as the other colour different really match and iit make some of the design very dark.
On the right side of the blog is the final draft of the booklet with the new colours and the smaller amount of text ithink cutting down the amount text in area really. helped and especially in my the 5 different point area it gives the booklet more space to breathe and won’t overpower the design making people feel really stressed with the amount of information they are getting the more simple design work in the best way.
To improve the booklet a bit more i would probably add more pages in the booklet or design another. booklet that could have more information but on the other hand i thinking giving too much information to the staff could make them really stressed and make them push the idea away of using. take 5 minutes out for creativity and the aim of this project to get them on board os having this small booklet could work .
