FMP – social media

 When designing my main outcomes for FMP  that’s known of the app and the overall brand I started to question about how will the young adults know about the app this came to me when I started to question the user experience and timeline, like I didn’t really know who the users would find this especially with the issues having a taboo would people want to talk about their app, they would be a lot of people confident  to share but then also a lot people saying no as they are embarrassed so this really helped me see that I need some type of marketing and advertising to benefit to brand and app as marketing would help the word of mouth marketing more.

When thinking of ways to market I knew print base was out of the window as it just expected and wouldn’t be looked at in covid times so I thought social media the place where my audience will typically be was the best places plus it allows the brand to have more freedom on what they put up as having some memes and jokes on the brands social media can be funny and a way for the brand to be shared across the board as users will see something. They find funny or connect with and will want to share it on their social media this will draw in more people and will help promote the app.

below are the four draft social media design that i created for formative feedback, each post has tii own message but joke to bring humour to the taboo issues,The colour scheme links back to the colours of the brand but the use of a darker black and purple really helps makes the text stand out on the design outcomes.

while thinking about the design on a ethics side the design could make some people without an understand of popular memes and jokes not fully understand however the target audience that I have target is uses social media the most meaning they are more likely to understand the jokes that is said, the design layouts for the jokes are very simple but the more simplistic design really work well each other as it more about people finding t relateable or funny and hopefully share the post on their feed.

An improvement for my design could be adding a moving imagery such as a gif or adding the body match logo and design as it would help promote the app and social media platform more especially if someone shares the design.

Below is the draft mock up of the the instagram home screen and what the design would look like, overall I think the design really work well with each and help tell the brand and adds some humor into the issues this is a way to draw people into coming to the app and the social media and hopefully make the audience feel comfortable and safe to learn about their bodies and health .
