design for real – booklet development

since going back to university and having Wednesday as an independent study day I felt that should use this time to make my previous project changes, theses changed were helped by feedback from David, one of the feedback changes that pointed out that `I should do was cut down my cut booklet design for my project, while the project is. about taking 5 minutes and 5 points to help for each section I knew I had to cut down the booklet some how.

while speaking to my peer Emily I asked her to look at the booklet. and point main areas she thought should be changed as another pair of eye looking at a design can really point out things I would over skip, while Emily looked at my designs on zoom she pointed out I could cut down my body type text size so I went on cut to my type from 11 to 9 due to the size of the booklet being small this also gave the booklet a lot more room for the readers to see but also not feel over pressured with text as this could really set someone. anxiety off.

while cutting down the point size on the back of the booklet I went on to inside of the booklet where I cut down the middle page paragraph, while the text below can see be seen a bit heavy I think it’s still important to have enough text on the page if I took too much out of the booklet there wouldn’t enough in. the booklet meaning the design would be useless to the how box and should be removed .

the overall changes I did for this project. was changing the point size of body text to an 9 and removing words and cutting down the sentences, this was to make the inside pages to the smallest amount of information that’s needed and that was straight to the point, by cutting down and making the small changes has. really helped my design and given the booklet more play and negative space by having negative space in this design can make people less stressed out or anxious and theres not as much on the page.
