creative cv design research

In the last term of University it’s all about improve our work that we want and improve ourself ready for industry in my second year we are asked as a part of the course to design a creative CV that we can use when apply for work placement or later in life for jobs in the creative industry that we will be applying for. While I knew I had to make a Cv that fits me as a designer and help show of some creative to a pending employer I thought to help start off would be create a mood board of CV that’s are made and could help me brainstorm in designs I want to include before just making the simple design.

While I was making a mood board on printrest of Creative cv to help me have a visual layout of ideas to help build my own I felt that I could straight away what I like and what I dislike, the elements I know I will most likely be using in my designs are.

  • colour plattee that links to me – nude ,pink purple tones – girly but Morden
  • portoirt layout – easier to be seen on screen and printed
  • including links to my website, design instagram
  • logo on the bottom of page
  • small design detail that link to my style – paint marks ,shapes
  • use 2 different typefaces one more feminine then the san serif that be the base text

From making a moodpboard on creative cv it has allowed me to have an idea of what people in the creative industry include on their cv for example software and skills, the cv moodpboard as also allowed me to understand what I think is important to include for my own cv to show my skills and style off instead of a simple plain black and white written page.
