from yesterday’s test prints, I wanted to try out more ideas with patterns on the black and white and outlines tries of the photos on top of the photo this is just to see what I prefer and what looks more unique and stands out to make a good outcome.
the first screen printing test I went along and did today was a simple pattern that I cut out in a couple of seconds the pattern was really thought about it just drown fast and done to see what the rough idea would like i feel like the pattern is a bit crazy and stands out on the photo but I feel like the photo gets a bit confusing with the. colour choice and the shape pattern on top, I feel by experiment with this idea I know that the yellow is bright but I don’t think will be using it as it makes the how photo a bit too confusing and theres no thought to it.

for the next try out of an idea, I idea was to draw an outline of some parts of the photo and screenprint in a bright color so it stands out making the photo pop more in area’s, this idea did take along to cut out small lined details but once I was screenprinting the final result was worth it, to get around how long it takes to do I could do another screenprinting method that take less time when I want but for this test, I think it was just to show a visual look for the idea.
here is what the outcomes of the line detail screenprint look like because it was a rough-cut screenprint it not so perfect but I really like the look of the outcome as its shows of the still photo in a better light and the bright color draw peoples eye to the photo. to carry on this idea I will be designing 5 books hopefully and using the same screenprinting on each photo for each artist book of mine this won’t take long to and it give a colourful creative look on the photo.
