To build up my portfolio and to show my identity in my work so people can identify my work with a brand or a name, I needed to design myself a personal logo that liked to me as a designer so far. the logo might change in a couple of months as I improve as a designer but I want something that stand for me as a designer now that includes personality.
A designer I really love to create work that is a mix media design using a numbers of skills but I like to add in colour to my work to give a pop while I used the main basic colours of black and white.
To help me design my logo I felt by looking online and looking at my work helped me realise what type of idea I wanted to include, the logo idea I came up with was colourful twist on the black and white. hand-written text (seen a bit girly) but also a use of shapes and all my work I simple shapes and make most of my designs very minimal .
above are the two design I drew up on illustrator both design are very playful with shapes and colour and both work very well however I do believe the circle design is very common in 2019 logo design with the layout the hexagon outline isn’t used often giving the design a unique look from other people logos and work, people can easily remember the shape for my brand.
