When designing the main part of my app, ideas to add in to my appeared to my brain “like I should add this” as this will help to make the app more detailed or this link to another app page would fit in my amazing. While I was designing I felt the best way to design my ideas was to make my main part of the app sit somewhere different like above the add on designs, this was too show the improvements of the app and the different parts the app can be linked to just by a tap on the screen.
Below is the Add on’s I came up with to add on my app to make it more bigger of an app to be used by a user, each part of the add on’s link to the main home screen of the Blog post with everyone posts on, the add on pages can be entered by the plus more button thats found on most of the main app games in the top left or for for the creating a blog post or photo album click on the add button found in the bottom right concern.
In the design stages of my app I realised I had an issues with my app not showing any others accounts and what their view of profile will look like that’t not just my one the Main test person profile, To help solve the issues I added in another account of one of friends in real life with her boyfriend they both said that they would use the app because they love to travel and it’s a place for their travels and a place to help plan or find inspiration of new places to by looking on the app from others. I went on to create my friends profile in the same style of the main account one however there some different icons in areas like the message book is left higher in the page and there’s a follow icon to give the user the knowledge that they follow this person.
For the add on account I wanted to keep my account very simple on the eye like the main account I feel that having a simple design and look it can help the user see everything and not feel too uneasy with the look, to improve this part of the app I could have a setting where the user could change their colour theme, as a designer I know theres areas to improve on but I will get feedback In my formative feedback to improve as I believe the colours don’t fit the best .
One of the last add on’s I created was the calendar for the countdown section of the app, I wanted to create this as there was no visual to show how to make the countdown events of the user upcoming adventures, by adding the calendar it helps show the user creates the newest event of the adventures that they want to countdown to, this plan was very awkward to create with all the numbers and trying to get them in place with the day letter however I do like the look of this part of the app as it’s very basic for anyone to use but can be seen very creative looking with the calendar look.
