As previous stated I wanted to keep the theme colours of some type of blue with a mixture of green inloeved in the app background and icon usage however I wasn’t very sure about what colours I wanted to use, by having a play on adobe software and looking online at different types of blues to start of with I soon came up with ideas.
to test out the colour themes I wanted to use that I had been thinking about I went on to adobe XD and started adding in colours, I made a straight line of the same blue going from baby blue to darker and I also did this turquoise to give myself a view of the monochromatic design of the blues.

Another way to help myself pick between the two colour theme was to start creating background design with the gradient tool theses ideas will be based for my app logo background and maybe used as the background of the app. the three design used the two colour theme and mixed .
I believe that the left hand design is seen as a more sky looking background very simple on the eye and would fit in with my app well, the other two are very pretty however I feel that they were fit in the whole them of the app as it looks more beachy looking, I want my background to fit more in the theme of the sky.
From picking what background design of what I prefer more I’ve come to the conclusion of what colour theme I would want more out of both them, I will be picking the baby blue to darker blue as my theme colour and using and white, little grey and black for text and small icon details.
