App design typefaces and app name

APP name.

In my blog post there I talked about my app design detail ( app design brand and app details ) I spoke about creating my app name but I was stuck like normal picking between 2/3 idea of names I like, I really picked between the words ” Adventure” and “Journey”, I’ve decided to go with the first part of app name of Adventure I believe that adventure sounds for exciting then journey.

I also aim for the app to be an adventure app where they document small adventure or worldwide ones I just want the app be a place for people to use to document their travels and plan their nexts one to make people lifespan’s easier. The second part of the app I’ve gone for is ” keeper” because the app going be a place to keep information I feel that it helps tell what the app does.  the final name is ‘Adventure Keeper”, its very simple and says what the app is without being to complicated.

Typeface for heading

After finally picking my app name, I wanted to make sure small details are getting done, I felt the next job was to try out typefaces for heading on the homepage and titles on the top of the app, for small text I will be using Adobe XD text fonts but for the heading I want it to used from illustrator.

When picking out title typefaces I knew I wanted something bold very visible to all different users but something is exciting, I wanted to pick a san serif typeface as they are often used more a header as the legs give the typeface a bit more creative and stand out.

below I picked 8 different typefaces I like the look of and think they might work, I really like the look of  number 7 ( Escrow) the tilt make the san serif looks very exciting, I also think that Bennet Banner Condensed will work well as the title on my app. TO see what the typefaces look like I will try them on out while I create my homepage.
