When finding the target audience for any product it always important to find the right people that your product will be for such as my product of a new app , I aim to will reach the right users and let them have the best experience within the app.
A lot of people when researching and marketing their app only think of a target audience of being an age group and their gender,there’s a fair more areas that people should think about for example demographics on what the person does as a living. Things such a background history on things they enjoy, any experiences in life ethical backgrounds, any small detail help identify a person and a user so finding things that a person has in common-will help find a audience .

For my travel journal app I’ve come up with different types of users that I believe would want to try my app this task was set in a workshop I found this task was very useful, by thinking and creating character/users it helps you think will the app work and suit the audience of the app.
User one
- -A young adult between the age group of 18-23
-A student wanting a gap year wanting to find places to go
- -Saved up money to go a year of travelling
- -Gender could be any gender
- -Hobbies and interest of helping people and watch capture the world by a camera
-The part app they use most would be exploring tagged places and meeting people near by
User two
- Young adult that’s in a couple wanting to adventure
- Worked for the last couple years built money up but want a adventure
- Gender is any but more likely a female
- Ethical background can be anyone as the app isn’t aim just one type person
- Hobbies and interesting socialising with friends, wanting to jake a change, food culture and maybe a certain sport
- The part of the app I think the user would the most would be blogging their journeys and pinning their locations.
User three
- Middle age couple with a family
- Full time workers with a degree behind them
- Young kids not enough time to explore so will look at people adventure
- Like the blog part to keep their photos together and loves the adventure organisers section
- Will use the app every now and then
User four
- A typical backpacker traveller travelling
- Interesting on exploring, learning about different Cultures
- No certain age group or race or age group
- Using an app like this can keep their stuff organised and keep their journey to share with family and friends easier in one space .
my overall idea of my target users I guess it will be aim for people that want to travel or are travelling, I don’t have a set target audience right now but I suspect the age range that app will start will be anyone born from 2000 meaning they will be 16 and under I believe that anyone under 17 won’t really be planning their own travel but I Haven’t cut them off they can still use my app but I know people 18 and above will want to travel more and feel more interested.
Gender and ethical background for my target audience doesn’t matter as I believe my app won’t have anything aim at certain gender and won’t offend anyone to their race or gender or age.
