UX UI – workshop software and frame wiring

Monday the 25th of March was a day with two workshops that were very important to the UX and UI app design project as the first workshop I had was an Adobe XD workshop learning the software basics in this time.

I learnt the basic knowledge while create a app within an hour and a half this just a simple design all the elements were given to me, everyone had the same outcome looks but the aim of the workshop was just to learn how to import photo or editing the layers or text, creating new art boards ( command + D )

This is the outcome of the design of mine.

The second workshop of the day was with my tutor David we have a small presentation that gave a help guide in away to us junior graphic designers about what to make sure our app ( here the post on it )

App design- presentation design points

But the main point of the second workshop was to understand what frame wiring was and to try it out before having to do it later on my final app design outcome.

Frame wiring is like a map that shows you the screens of the app with arrows pointing to the page that follow or you will end if you press something. To some people it can be hard to do but looking at I found it so satisfying to look at and simple.

To try out the frame wiring I got into pair with Emil and we used Snapchat as an app to try frame wiring this exercise was very handy to practice and fun to do, I think this will be useful and fun to do .
