For my chosen article of ” In A Perpetual Present” I’ve got to cut down the article to main information but be able to make sure that the article still flow perfect to people to understand the minimum words is 1500 words.
To help take a pressure of cutting the article down I’ve made point of what information to go on certain pages for example
page 1 – background information
spread 2 – finding out and other people in the world
Spread 3 -more stories and technology .
From the first time reading the article I had put arrow to certain thing for like anything that I felt stood out to me should stay in the article or things that gave me ideas for designing work, by reading the article more and more times each time I felt that something stood out to me.
However I still felt like I was struggling to cut down some of the text as I felt that everything had a reason to be kept or it was important. A method a peer in my degree showed me was to use a word document on my new iPad Pro and use the pen to highlight out areas that I felt didn’t need to be there.
The method worked so well for me as it gave me a chance to read while removing and not having to worry that I have made a mistake because I was highlighting then remove once I read and skipped the highlighted area
