Losing your memory can be diagnosed with different medial names such as dementia and Alzheimers and anmmnesia all theses are different medical issues but all have the lack of memory.
- anmmeina – lack of memory – from brain injury
- dementia- dementia is a disease that a person can get when again in life, there’s a handful of different dementia that someone can be diagnosed with that can effect them in different ways each of them will have a lack of memory and issues with speech and more. The person will get worse and slowly pass away.
- Alzheimer – a disease that attacks the brain leaving brain not sending signal to the body in areas, the disease will slowly eat away the person ending them needing care . Memory goes when the disease takes over.
People can suffer with memory loss on a day to basis this can be due to stress from something, a mental health issues( depression), lack of sleep however if someone memory loss is getting very bad they need see their doctor.
Aging of a person can be a simple cause to memory loss this just normal for a person to slowly throw the years loss some of their money but not a lot.
The type of stuff someone does if they are losing their memory would be :
- asking the same question again and again
- Forgetting words when speaking
- mixing up stuff and words
- placing items in wrong areas
- leaving everything in random places
- forgetting about upcoming events
- not remembering the past or someone
- mood changes
Treatments for memory loss can be helped with tablets if it linked to mental health issues of sleep and stress but if memory loss is linked to as long term disease there can be drugs that the doctors can give out to help but it won’t stop the disease taking over.
From reading a book called The Memory Of Flora Banks,Memory loss can make you believe that you’ve done something and believe in things when you you’re not sure at times can make someone believe in a lie, a lot people around the person can lie to make it easy to deal with them as a person as they can be hard work people believe.
