For the editorial project I will be designing in the next couple of weeks I have to pick an article that I will be designing around, last night I spent some time looking over the different articles that have been to me to chose from.
All of the articles are interesting in their own ways to put help myself to pick them, I’ve decide to cut it down and read them 3 in more detail, The ones that are in my top 3 are #Metoo , In a Perpetual present and The Class pay Gap.
While reading my top 3 three in some detail I tired to visual some layout and design ideas in my head, while reading the Class Pay Gap I wasn’t very interesting in reading so I got rid of it as I don’t think I would be able to design on it if I cant even read all of it.
Cutting down to two I found it so easy to do as soon as I started to read In a Perpetual present I knew that article was for me and I getting ideas in my head soon as I started to read it.
In my sketch book I created a page for my ideas that I could think of that I want to experiment in my 3 double spreads, getting in groups in university with people that picked the same article helped me think of other ideas so things that weren’t just typical to everyone.
This my starting page of ideas in my sketch that I’m going to work on and see that I can use to develop into a final outcome.
