Oxymoron for protest- introduction

Part two of Monday after lunch the second  week of collaboration task work was introduced to the groups within the class, the new task was to a create an oxymoron that didn’t include any text, as a graphic designer this is going to a bit hard as everything I create always has some type of text included but I’m going to take the challenge.

To start of the oxymoron task me and Laura sat down and started to pick between the oxymoron ‘ words’ we were given to pick between, we were told that our oxymoron didn’t have to link to the protest of our however me and Lara wanted all the work we create to link to the protest we have started to design.

When we were picking we got to meet the two illustrators that meant to be in our group from the start of week one but they didn’t bother to turn up, the two boys didn’t want to work as they didn’t like the brief so they walked out class leaving me and Laura to the work again without them.

Below is the brainstorm me and Laura sat and talked about while she wrote  down a tidy brainstorm that we both can look at when designing, while be creating the brainstorm I said to Laura that I think that we a leaning to the words ” valuable rubbish” idea as this could link to protest a lot and we can both create something each again without the illustrators .

Before leaving each other to go home we spoke to both tutors of Theo and Jo to tell them our ideas of what we want to do for an outcome to see if it was the right idea, both tutor believed in our idea this gave us hope for the week of designing our oxymoron.
