start of collaboration part 2
Collaboration part 2 is the second half of field unit in my 1st year of university, in this part of collaboration I will be mixing with another degree course student that are illustrators and some more people from my graphics course.
Part one of field was very fun to take part of working with peers to make a campaign, just like part one field will work the same just with other designers this is to understand the different ways people work and how working in design world can be like.
This morning session of university in collaboration the tutors had a talk about what both degree do e.g their backgrounds and exapain what will be happening within the next 3 weeks as each week there will be something different to create in my group on the idea of something linking to our protest The first week my group and I will be making a manifesto for the protest .
To kick start collaboration everyone was set off to do an ice breaker with the illustrators of making a 3 paper mask of an animal in our groups due to both of my illustrators i was in my group with Laura who’s a graphic student we both get on already so we know we will work good with each. As the others weren’t in the tutors paired us up with other graphics students, the animal my group decided was an elephant the outcome was very good .
In the afternoon me and Laura start of making ideas of what we would like to a protest on we didn’t want to hold back as our other two members weren’t in. The hour of making ideas of what protest to maybe create we left university with a brainstorm and a rough idea of what we want to protest about the next step we will go and do some research before creating some design ideas.
