The first Thursday within the induction week was a welcome and understanding lecture of constellation. My first questions before the group lecture what is constellation? Is it important on my degree? and what will I be doing on every Thursday?
Sat in the lecture with Ashely talking about constellation I found the answers to my questions also some extra information inside constellation. Constellation is a lesson area that I will learn about topics that I pick from after learning the knowledge I need and writing case studies I will write 1000 words or 3000-word essay besides a learning journal that will be read by my tutors to achieve feedback.
constellation will help me gain writing skills and experience in the next 2 years ready for year 3 to write my dissertation. constellation is very important to my degree Ashley used a method to demonstration how constellation sits within my degree in the 3 years, she made a tea by showing us what filed is and subject is, but she used a tea bag to show what constellation is it basically showed the group that you can’t complete the course without constellation work.
After the hour introduction there was a task given to go home and look around on Moodle the constellation pages and read the different workshop topics that I must pick from in next lesson, in my own time I went through all the different topics and numbered what topics I found the most interesting and what wasn’t as fun. I found that the polities of beauty and the body, designing with people the most fun to learn about so hopefully I can join onto them.
