The Past
Welcome to my learning journal I’m Georgia, 19 years old, from the young age design work has always been around me and something I’ve always enjoyed looking and making myself this has leaded me onto person I am now. Starting University for graphic Communication I knew that this new Chapter of my life would benefit me to improve my creative head space as well helping me to progress into a better person even a designer. coming to the art school I bring along some design and media knowledge that I gained through early education even skills that I can develop further.
The present
Within the first week of university induction week I have experienced many different situations from starting university having to learning the new campus and area around from traveling there even getting lost along the way, meeting new people from different places with different backgrounds , understanding the university lifestyle and how things work in the Art school. What was interesting about induction week was meeting all new people and tutors that will be join the same graphic journey with me in the 3 years and getting to know everyone by their prestation, I also loved looking around the campus seeing facilities I can use to creative my work.
The future
Throughout the course in the next 3 years I wish to learn several new things that I can use in the future years in my career, since the induction week talks with the tutors and listening more about graphic design I know that this course will help me reach my aim’s in the future, this has even given me motive to push myself to become a creative designer and to stand out not to hold back . One of the things I would like to learn is old graphic techniques and mix them with modern day technology even try out other art/design fields work by doing workshops.
